21 Air obtains U.S.-Peru Flying Authority

Peruvian Civil Aviation Authority has issued Directive Resolution # 895-2019-MTC/12 on behalf of 21 Air granting the U.S. Airline flying rights to perform U.S.-Peru all cargo flight operations, in accordance with the Air Transport Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Republic of Peru, which allows up to 5th/ 7th freedom flight operations. The validity of this authority will be for a period of four (4) years. The carrier had been previously operated into the country in ad hoc basis. 21 Air is currently setting up flying authorities within several South American countries getting ready to initiate a long-term B767-300ERF Aircraft Interchange/Sub-Lease flight program with a multi-billion airline group which consists of scheduled operations between Miami and several South American points. Earlier this year, 21 Air had been previously designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation to provide U.S.-Peru All Cargo Services.
