Information about Miami accident involving Flight 7598

October 1, 2026 Statement

21 Air has received the National Transportation Safety Board's (NTSB) preliminary report on the September 6, 2026, accident involving Flight 7598 at Miami International Airport. Our focus since the accident has been on supporting everyone affected, to include providing resources to those who were injured, the loved ones of those who lost their lives, and our colleagues and commercial partners. We also continue to work closely with the NTSB as a party to the investigation and will do so until its investigation is complete.

Safety management is a mindset the entire 21 Air team carries every day in everything we do. Since current ownership acquired the company in April 2021, safety has been a core focus of our organization. Our executive leadership team is actively engaged in managing operational risk and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. We encourage employees at every level to raise concerns and share feedback, and we incorporate those insights into our operations and decision-making. In some cases, that feedback has led to policies and procedures that exceed requirements, reflecting our commitment to the safe and reliable operation of our airline.

We are reviewing the information in the NTSB preliminary report closely, alongside our own internal safety and operational protocols, and we will take all appropriate action to improve our safety based on the facts as they are established.

September 17, 2026 Update

We remain devastated by the accident in Miami involving one of our aircraft on September 6, 2026, and continue to send our condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of those impacted by this tragic event.

In recent days we have:

• Worked to support everyone affected by the accident, including providing resources to those who were injured, the loved ones of those who lost their lives, and our colleagues
  
• Continued to work closely with the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) as a party to the investigation.
  
• Reinforced all elements of our safety management systems and policies across the company.
  
• Safely moved the aircraft from the accident site to a secure location within the airport perimeter so that it can be preserved for the investigation, as required. The aircraft was released to us by the NTSB and local authorities following the conclusion of their initial onsite investigation.
  

We will continue to work closely with the NTSB as the investigation unfolds, and remain confident in our safety policies, procedures and training.
